You will only get the very best! Professional photographers shoot in RAW format meaning that every image is a HUGE file and can only be opened in special photo editing software, processed, and then converted to another file type. My job is to sort through all of the (hundreds) of photos and select, edit, and present the very best images from our photoshoot together. Though this is a tedious task to complete and is a massive part of the creative process as a photographer. I can ensure that you will get only the very best edited images from your session. Jilian McLendon Photography does not relinquish RAW or unedited photographs.

About my style: Though I enjoy some posed shots here and there, my main love is candid photography. Not only am I trying to snap a memory during my time with you, I am also aiming to capture your personality. I want the in-between moments, the ones that are easily missed. The candid, laid back feel of the photos I take can bring you back to all the warm and fuzzies you were feeling at that one time and place. There is something so magical about that. If you like golden tones, a bit of vinatgey grain, and sun flares I'm so your photographer!

How does the contract and payment work? Upon booking your shoot, $100 of the session/package fee is due to secure that date. This is a non-refundable fee. The remaining balance is due the day prior to your session. I accept Venmo, all major credit cards, PayPal, cash, as well as checks! CashApp is not accepted.

You session contract must be signed electronically to officially book your session date. 

I charge a non-refundable travel fee for locations further than 25 miles from Mozley Park, ATL starting at $20.

*WEDDING deposits are 25% of your package of choice. This is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding day.

What happens after the photoshoot? Once I start editing, I usually send you sneak-peeks of our session within 48 hours and will have a completed online proofing gallery sent to you within 2 weeks of our session. *this time may be lengthened for large events such as weddings or parties*

How does the digital gallery work? After your session I will create a private, online gallery which allows you to go through the images and select your favorites. Once you have made your selections, I send you the files for you to download! Each package includes a set amount of digital files. Like more images than the package offers? Great!- Just select all the extra images that you would like to purchase! They're only $10/image!

I love my photos!! Can I post them to Instagram? Absolutely you can! In fact, I want you to share them! Your gallery will include a document that contains important information on printing and sharing on social media. The gist of the document is: you can share, post, and print as much as you like, as long as it's for personal use. There is also a bit in there about using filters. I know we all love them, but it's rude and it's illegal. And lastly, anytime you post online, make sure you credit/tag me!

What is your cancellation policy? If you need to cancel our photoshoot, please do so within 24 hours and we can reschedule for another date or time! Jilian McLendon Photography is an on-location natural light photography company, so sometimes weather does interfere with our shooting schedule. (heat, snow, rain, etc) If this is the case, we will reschedule our session at no extra charge.
